Her store, Creative Florist, is located in Island Park, Long Island, and offers ideas for gift baskets and theme parties, as well as an abundant assortment of exotic and popular flowers.

An active member of the Long Beach BNI Chapter, Beach Side Power Professionals, Doris also serves as a board member of the Island Park Chamber of Commerce from which she received the award “Outstanding Business Person of the Year”, and she is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Island Park.
Doris’s other interests include boating and hiking. She lives in East Rockaway with her husband, Ronnie and her two children, David and Melissa.
